I love Millie, though I think I may prefer Milly. Thats hardly the point, sorry. Yes, Millie could stand alone, but it would probably age better as a nn for a longer name. Then again, I tend to dislike nns as given names.
I've always loved Millie as a nn for Matilda. How about Emilia (a little different than Amelia), Millicent, Emmeline, Emily?
I like Camille also, and I wouldnt really give another thought to some girl Grant had a very brief thing with. You obviously wouldn't be naming your child after her, and once the baby was born and named Camille any time either of you heard the name you would automatically think of your child not some random girl, you know?
