[Opinions] Re: Lu?
I adore Louise; I think it's a lovely name. Not too frilly or over-the-top or pretentious. I don't know any personally, but there are tow royal children born within the last four years with the name: Louise Alice Elizabeth Mary of Great Britain and Louise Sophie Mary of Belgium.Middle names:Louise Mathilde
Louise Catherine
Louise Augusta
Louise Primrose
Louise Agatha
Louise Ramona
Louise Amelie
Louise Felicitee
Louise Adoracion (I couldn't resist!)
Louise Christina
Louise Ophelia
Louise AnaïsI don't like Lewis, but I do like Louis (pronounced 'loo-EE').Ludwig is a name that I absolutely love, but would only use in a second middle name slot because it's so horribly dated that it's not even retro-chic. But hey, if you like it as a first name, by all means, go for it! The only namesakes I know of are Ludwig van Beethoven and der Märchenkönig, King Ludwig II von Bayern (you should read his bio at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mad_King_Ludwig. He was such the romanticist).Middle names:Ludwig Anders
Ludwig Andrea
Ludwig Friedrich
Ludwig John
Ludwig Phineas
Ludwig Ichabod
Ludwig Philip
Ludwig Michael
Ludwig Gregers
Ludwig Richard (King Ludwig was a patron of Richard Wagner)
Ludwig Felix
Ludwig Casper
Ludwig Matthias
Ludwig Nikolaus
