I think it is a Spanish name for Sarah, just by what I've found on here. Does anybody know anything more?

I've never heard/read it with a Z before - I suspect that it's usually Sarita.

That's kind of what I thought. I've seen it spelled Zerita and Zorita, it's pronounced like Zerita.
