I've really started to like the name Scout for a girl, especially with the character "Scout" as a namesake. I'm having a lot of trouble with combo's though. THe best I've come up with so far is Scout Nadine and that just doesn't sound right. ANy help with combos would be appreciated.

I don't like it enough to actually consider using it but I think its makes a cute nn. I think Scout Nadia would make a lovely combo. Nadine's pretty, too, I just prefer the sound of Nadia. Some combo suggestions (I think Scout's better paired with classy, feminine names as it seems quite unisex sounding):

I love Scout, but for a boy mostly. It's cute on a girl as well.

It's nice to hear that someone else likes Scout. I thought about Scout Rue and came up with Scout Ruth, which I like quite alot. Thanks for the help.

Scout is more of a pet's name to me. The character wasn't really named Scout, that was only a nickname; her actual name was the very lovely and feminine Jean Louise.

I know Scout was only her nickname, but Jean Louise really doesn't appeal to me, as much as Scout.

I prefer Scout on a boy. But I know a female dog with that name (everyone calls her Scouty). I just can't see it on a girl, sorry.

Scout is my dog's name.

So for me its a complete no-no for a person's name.

First off, Scout is nms, but I'll try to respect your opinion of the name.

I like Scout Nadine better than anything I can come up with myself.
