I really like Romilly...it's spunky and elegant all at the same time. I pronounce it Roma-lee; with a short o sound. Not like Rome.

I'm told that there's a BBC newscaster with this name who pronounces it to rhyme 'homily' (like the 'sermon' homily, RAWM-ih-lee, not the adverb 'in a homey way'). The French surname, though, I believe has the long O like the word 'roamily' -- ROH-mil-ee. Personally I'd be inclined to say the latter.
