[Opinions] Stanley and Violet
One of the senior managers at work brought his kids in to the office for a look around and their names were Violet and Stanley. I'd guess they're about 8 and 6 years old. To me, those names sound like two old people but I have a feeling they may start to come back into fashion. What do people think about those names and as a sibset?

I kind of have a soft spot for Stanley since reading Holes a few years back :) Violet is really nice, one of those old names starting to come back. They are a cute sibset!

I dislike both names, but as a sibset they're great IMO

I really like Violet. Not too keen on Stanley though.

I think they're both on the upswing, although Stanley is not my style, and work well together. Violet is a definite possibility for us.

I love Violet, hate Stanley - a bit odd as a sibset, but kind of cute together.

I like Violet; Stanley's...okay, I guess. I hate the NN Stan, which he'll probably get.

I adore the name Violet, but i hate Stanley. And I don't care for them together. But i do love Violet, and Violetta.

Cute. They're not my two favorite names particularly but they're a cute sibset. Reminds me of a sibset I know in their twenties, Henry and Lillian. I particularly like Stanley, or at least the idea of a Stanley. Reminds me of some other old-fashioned-ish names that I enjoy like Albert, Howard, Morton, Bernard, things like that. I'd be tickled to see them on a young child.
