[Opinions] Athena?
I've never really thought twice about Athena, but for some reason I noticed it earlier and I think I could really like it. WDYT?Also, does anyone else have a name like this, that they never paid attention to either way, and one day just started liking it?

A good 50% or so of the names that end up being my favorites are ones I never paid attention to before. It's like they just float up out of our subconsciouses... Anyway, I love the name Athena, and I would seriously consider using it, except I knew a horrible, horrible girl named Athena. Can't get over that personally, but I would love it on someone else's child.

I love Athena and I always have. As for names that I suddenly started liking more for whatever reason: Vera and Renata. I liked them before, but I can't get over them out of my head now.

I prefer Althea over Althena.Yes, I never really noticed Octavia until a few weeks ago.

I like Athena on the goddess, one of the best names there but i think for a child these days it associations/connotations are too strong. I really like Anthea though and I know someone by association who's sometimes called Anth but i think I would prefer Thea if you were to "shorten" it.

I like it, I just did a report on Athena (Minerva) in my Herioc Literature class.I guess right now the name like that for me is Ingrid.

I think it's very nice. It's not a top favorite, but it'd be great to meet a little Athena. :)That happens to me all the time, but two names that I really remember that happening with are Karen and Frederick.

I really like Athena, it's in my list for middle names.

I love Athena. It was on my pnl for a very long time, but thought that it may not be all too usable. Instead, I added Athene. I actually find it even more flattering and it doesn't scream "Greek goddess" or anything. Some names I've had similar situations with:Katherine
Lavender
MollieAugustin
Johann
Maximus

I really like Athena, I love its history and sound :)I have that experience all the time with names, lately I've been all over Maria, John and Hazel, names I wouldn't have given a second thought until a little while back.
