Message: "Conrad" - Behind the Name

Ever since my friend told me he had a brother named Conrad I've become more and more fascinated by this name. It's really starting to grow on me. What do you guys think of it?

Also, my friend's name is Evan so the sibset is Conrad and Evan. I like both names a lot.

I had a friend named Conrad in high school. I like it and I think it's both traditional-sounding and dynamic-sounding. Besides, I just like the sound of the -rad part. Most people who I have asked about it don't like it... I guess you have to meet one.

Conrad is a nice nice. I like it, but I like others a lot more. I would use it that. Evan is one I loved a few years ago and wanted to use, but DH doesn't like it so I've moved on. Very cute sibset.

They are ok for siblings, but don't like either name (hate Conrad a bit more).

I like the name Evan, however, not a fan of Conrad at all, or Konrad. both names turn me off.

and as a sibset, no.

My great grandpa's name was Konrad and I really like both spellings. As for Evan... *sighs and falls into daydreams* Er, yes, I love the name Evan. :-)

As a sibset, they're fantastic.
