[Opinions] Harper?
I've recently fallen in love with the name Harper (for a girl). WDYT? Also, what do you think of the combo Harper & Sophia / Sofia? And which spelling? (Sophia or Sofia?)

I think of someone who harpsand I don't mean the instrument. Then I think of harpies. So: No.

Harper is one of the only 'surname'ish type names that I like on a little girl. This is because of Harper Lee.I think Harper Sofia is very gorgeous.

To me, Harper is a last name. So, no, I don't like it for a girl.
Prefer the spelling Sophia.

Either Sophia or Sofia is lovely, but it is overused along with Sophie.Harper is surnamey and reminds me of when someone is "harping on". I know, Harper Lee and all, but I really dislike the name. It just seems so masculine and bleh next to pretty Sophia / Sofia.

I don't know...my stepsister named her baby girl Parker not too long ago. I remember thinking how unfeminine it is, and feeling rather sorry for the baby. Harper is pretty much in the same category. Same with Taylor and Madison. I just think a girl should have a more feminine name than these. The name doesn't have to be over-the-top feminine, but I think that it should be clearly feminine. That's just my opinion, though, and I know that it goes against a strong trend.

Harper SofiaI think it is very good, actually. I prefer Sofia because that's the most common spelling used in my native language. I guess it doesn't really matter.Thank you for posting this, I've been working on a list of names that are actual words... (ok I haven't added to it for about a year, but now the interest has come back) and Harper wasn't on it, so thank you :)
