A teacher at my school just had baby girl:Magnolia Avery King (nn Maggie)Her son's name is Riley.I know they were looking for something unusual. WDYT?

I like it very much. I think Avery fits well as a middle name for lots of choices and for something as fancy as Magnolia it works well. Maggie is as common as can be, but the full name is special. Good job. btw, can't stand Riley.

The dog my family had when I was a teenager was named Maggie. My sisters and I, being teenagers, insisted she was named after "Maggie May", the song by Rod Stewart. My father insisted it was short for Magnolia Blossom. So all I can think of when I hear Magnolia is that dog.

Magnolia is georgeous not so keen on MN and don't really feel it goes well with brother Riley but very cute, prefer it without a nn

I like Magnolia Avery quite a bit, but I think it was a strange choice after the very conventional Riley.
