I think Elisabeth Kaye is a fine name. Right now I prefer the Elizabeth spelling, but that is constantly changing (though, I doubt it will change much anymore, since I'm reading Pride & Prejudice and am falling in love with the character of Elizabeth Bennett). Kaye is nms, but certainly not a bad name by any means.
Some nns I can think of for Elisabeth are Lisa, Beta, Elle, Sabs, Ethie, Issy, and Bea (prn. bee).
