Yep, I also thought "Felix" was an odd choice for a girl, and "Ashley" a disastrous choice for a boy.
Plus, I believe "Noel" is more often seen as a masculine name (probably made popular in the 60s by the actor Noel Harrison, who played Mark Slate on the spin-off teevee series to *The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Not to mention the British playwright, Noel Coward.). I would choose "Noelle" for a girl, instead.
Oh yeah... And, like "Toby", "Red" is a dog's name. (e.g. "Big Red" from the children's novel by Kjelgaard, which was made into a movie.)
