As the pronounciations are covered already I'll just say what think...
Eija - Sweet. The meaning is so weird imo. I would've thought it was a pet name for some E- name.
Irina - Lovely, but I'd use Irene.
Kaarina - Great, it feels both old-fashioned romantic and comfortably familiar.
Kielo - I like the meaning more than the sound.
Kiira - ok, modernish.
Lahja - Too old sounding.
Loviisa - Very nice.
Lumi - Pretty, but a bit trendy.
Matleena - I don't find it terribly attractive even though I love other forms of the name.
Meri - It has been too common in years past, I'm a bit meh on it.
Paiva - Better than Päivi atleast. I like Pilvi.
Pauliina - Well, I adore Pauline.
Petra - Very nice.
Pinja - Very very sweet.
Piritta - I like it, feels medieval.
Priita - Ok. Sounds Indian.
Riika - Kind of ok.
Satu - Quite lovely, but I've known too many.
Seija - I had a period when I was younger when I loved this name.
Siiri - Sweet. But I'd use Siri.
Silja - Lovely! It's such a pity there's a famous cruise company with the name, makes it impossible to use. I like Milja, Hilja, Vilja and Lilja too.
Sohvi - It's okay as a nickname for Sofia.
Suvi - Lovely name, being the old-fashioned word for summer.
Taika - Ok, but cutesy.
Tarja - Can't separate the name from the person I know. Old sounding.
Taru - Sweet. Taru and Satu go together.
Tea - I prefer Thea.
Teija - Too old.
Teresa - I used to hate it, but it's growing on me.
Tuija - A great deal too old sounding, but I could see it used on a little girl too. It has that nature-y sound.
Boys:
Jalo - Ok. I prefer Jalmari nickname Jali.
Mainio - This name just brings a smile to my face, it's so silly sounding. I can imagine a bear after a feast on honey, feeling all contented.
Mikko - Eek.
Niilo - Old man.
Niko - Cutesy.
Oskari - Ok.
Otto - Love!
Paavali - A bit too much.
Paavo - It has a retro feel. Paavo Nurmi comes to mind.
Reijo - Old.
Reko - Nms.
Roopertti - Prefer Robert a thousand times.
Sebastian - A bit too popular.
Sepi - Cute!
Severi - Love it, Severin especially.
Simo - Not so much, more of a 70's name.
Sulo - Kind of silly, old mannish. Could be Mainios brother.
Taavi - Nice, cute.
Tahvo - Nms.
Taneli - Can't make my mind up on it.
Tarmo - Nms. I like Urho.
Timo - See Simo.
Veli - See Simo again.
Jasper - Is perfectly okay.
