Message: "Mathias, Matheus or Matteo?"

[Opinions] Mathias, Matheus or Matteo?

I'm really liking all three names right now and I can't really decide which one I like the most.
Mathias- I like both the sound and the look of it but I do think it's a bit boring sometimes and I don't know if I prefer Matthias.
Matheus- seems to have a fresher sound than Mathias and it doesn't feel so common as Mathias or Matteo.
Matteo- I love the sound and I think it's such a sweet name but I'm wondering if it would suit a grown man.

So what do you think? Any favorite and why?

I prefer Matthias over Mathias, but Matteo is the best of the bunch imo. I don't think Matteo is preblematic on a grown man.

Matteo is my fave. I don't think you have to worry about it not suiting a grown man, it would be lovely imo. I don't see anything "young" or "childish" about the name. To me it sounds strong and handsome.

I really love Matteo, and it's definitely my favorite from the three. I hate Mathias (though I like Matthias, said mah-THIE-as, a lot). Matheus looks very unattractive, though I'm not sure how it's pronounced. If it's MAT-ee-us or mah-THEE-us, it's rather ugly IMO.

My favorite is just Matthew.

Matteo is very boring and not cool in any way to me, I don't see why it gets so much attention around here. Matheus is really cool looking, but I'm not familiar with it at all. I love Matthias, so Mathias GMV here, but I could easily be converted to Matheus.

I love/prefer Matteo.

It's a handsome name, which I think fits a boy/man of any age wonderfully.

Matteo is the name my husband and I have chosen to give our son. It's very handsome and charming in my opinion.

I also like Mathias but I prefer the spelling Matthias. It has an interesting sound to it and I don't find it boring at all.

Matheus I'm not to sure about. Probably because I'm not sure how to pronounce it.

Matteo gets my vote.

Matteo is great. It's fairly common too, so I have no trouble seeing it on a grown man.

Mathias is probably my favourite, and I prefer that spelling to Matthias. Matheus seems nice as well but I'm not too sure how to pronounce it. Mateo is nice, but I'm not sure about Matteo. I'm not too big on the double-t as you can tell.

Mathias - Not my something I like, sounds really dated (I prefer Matthias)
Matheus - Lovely! Actually my favourite is Matthäus, becaus of Matthäus-passion, which is one of my favourite Bach's works.
Matteo - I think it can suite a grown man easily. I like it as well.

I like Matteo best, the other 2 are a bit harsh-sounding. It's a legit Italian name, fairly common, so I don't see why it shouldn't suit a grown man.
