[Opinions] Orihime
What do you think of the name Orihime? I know it has Japanese origin but that's about it. Any ideas?

thankyouYes, I thought it was somewhat of a godess. I think it's something about Tanabata. Does anyone know the story?

Very Bleach.I think it's got a pretty enough sound, but I also associate it very heavily with a series (as mentioned, Bleach: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orihime_Inoue) that doesn't really do much for me.It's also worth noting that, AFAIK, in Japanese it's not a name but a word, meaning "seamstress". A lot of anime characters' names aren't used by the general population. Whether or not this is a drawback for you is for you to decide, but I think it's worth pointing out.ArrayETA: Sorry--upon looking it up, it seems that Orihime is the name of a goddess. ^^;;; I think the meaning stands, though, as well as the fact that it's used as a word.
