[Opinions] Alice
WDYT? I've been thinking about this name quite a lot lately. Its not usually the kind of name that really gets my attention but I'm loving it right now. I'd prefer it as a mn but I'm finding it hard to come up with interesting, slightly unusual fns that flow well with Alice. Does anyone have any suggestions? TIA =)

Others I like:

I'm liking all of those combos. The first four have a lovely French feel to them which I adore. I don't know why I didn't think of them myself considering they're right there on my PNL. =/ I think Vivienne is my favourite and I also love Genevieve, Imogen and Veronique from your suggestions. Thanks for your help! =)
I really love the name Alice. It reminds me of "Alice in Wonderland", which is a connection I'm quite fond of. Here are some combo suggestions:
Phoebe Alice
Guinevere Alice
Gwendolyn Alice
Josephine Alice
Jemima Alice
Lucy Alice
Lara Alice
Poppy Alice
Penny Alice
Ivy Alice
Imogen Alice
Yasmine Alice
Tabitha Alice
Ruby Alice
Rosemary Alice

Roxanne Alice
Rhiannon Alice
I love the name Mary but I wouldn't use Mary Alice, personally, because I prefer a more unusual fn for a well known mn. Its pretty, though. Clementine Alice is sweet and I like it very much. Thanks =)
I love Alice. (It's my maternal grandmother's name.)
I'm used to working with Alice as a first name in combos, but I'll give it a try as a middle name...
Bronwen Alice
Clementine Alice
Esmée Alice
Genevieve Alice
Gwendolen Alice
Harriet Alice
Josephine Alice
Mariam Alice
Miriam Alice
Rosalind Alice
Rosemary Alice
Winifred Alice

Ooh, great suggestions! I love Clementine, Esmée (I prefer Esme, though), Genevieve, Gwendolyn and my favourite from your list, Miriam. Thanks! =)
I like Alice. If I were to make combos I would do something like thise:
Esme Alice
Josephine Alice
Eleanor Alice
Ophelia Alice
Imogen Alice
Margaux Alice
Tamsin Alice
Zilpah Alice
It is really difficult to make Alice flow as a middle name, especially when I don't have a last name to work with as last names can completely put off the otherwise great flow of a first and middle name combo.

Frances and Francis have been used on memebers of my family for years and I think that using Francesca would be a great way to honour my relatives. It makes an interesting alternative to Frances, imo. I've actually been thinking about Elanor Alice/Elinor Alice and I'm really liking that combo right now. Thanks for your help and I hope your SO comes round with the name Alice. =)
I love Alice so much. i think it will be perfect as a fn.
I love Alice! It's not overused, but definitely not unknown. It's simple and classy. Love it. :D
FN's are tough, but here goes:
Noa Alice :)
Ruth Alice
Miguela Alice
Zenobia Alice (Tina Fey's daughter is Alice Zenobia. I always thought that was cool.)
Lydia Alice
Gaiana Alice
Diantha Alice
Scarlet Alice
Lucia Alice
Nicola Alice (NIC-o-la)
Verity Alice
Faye Alice
Winona Alice
Ofelia Alice
Agostina Alice
Judith Alice
Laoise Alice
Like any?

Fns are very hard and it always seems to flow better in the mn spot but I love a few of your suggestions. Scarlet Alice really stands out for me. Laoise is beautiful, as is Verity and Zenobia (although I prefer Zenovia slightly more. And you know I love Noa =). Ofelia's one of my favourite names but because the As sort of run together in Ofelia Alice, you got me thinking of the french alternative, Ophélie. WDYT of Ophélie?
Thanks so much for your suggestions. =)
Thanks so much for your suggestions. =)
Ophélie Alice is lovely. It seems like it should be pronounced al-EES in that combo, though.
Ditto this!

I see what you mean about the pronunciation of Alice; because Ophélie is French, it does seem like it should be pronounced al-EES. I never really thought about that. Thanks for pointing that out. =)
I've been thinking about Elanor as a fn which has the same sound but different meaning to Elinor, I guess. I love both! Elowen kinda reminds me of Eowyn which is a favourite of mine at the moment. Its very pretty =) I'm really liking fns Maeve, Naomi, Seren and Vivien. Great suggestions! Thank you very much =)
