I love the name Desmond, it's a favorite of mine. It has a handsome, sophisticated sound. I also really like the similar sounding name Esmond / Esmund.
Desmond Michael is nice.
Edited to add: Just saw that two others suggested Desmond Hugh which I just love. Hugh is another favorite of mine and I often consider Desmond Hugh or Hugh Desmond : )
