[Opinions] Antonia and Anastasia
I'm not totally sure what possessed me to it, but recently I've really been liking the names Antonia and Anastasia. I was wondering what you guys thought of these. Thanks!

Antonia is growing on me...not a favorite, but I wouldn't mind seeing it on someone else's daughter. I used to think sounded a bit harsh, but I'm starting to see the appeal in it.Anastasia is pretty, though sometimes, it seems a bit over the top. This is another that I wouldn't necessarily use, but wouldn't mind seeing.

I really like Antonia because it honors my brother and my boyfriend; both their middle names are Anthony. It's actually part of my favorite combo - Colette Antonia Marie.I go back and forth on Anastasia. Sometimes I really like it, sometimes it's just kind of meh. I think today is the latter.

I love both and have considered using them.

Anastasia I really like, but not a fan of Antonia.:)

Both gorgeous, Anastasia pronounced a-na-STAH-see-a being much superior to STAY-zha imo, and more correct. Antonia gripped me with its overwhelming beauty one day and didn't let me go for about a month. It's let me go now, but I still like it a lot.And I don't understand where people get the idea that it could ever legitimately be pronounced an-to-NEE-ah, that's completely incorrect and unfounded. Antonina is nice too though, imo.

I love Anastasia (ah-nah-STAH-see-ah only--I hate ann-uh-STAY-zha) and I like Antonia (ann-TONE-ee-ah) a lot too.

I like AnastasiaOnly if pronounced the correct way. Antonia is too cold and regal for me.

How do you pronounce it?

a-na-STAS-ee-a

That is how I pronounce it, too.

I love Antonia but I dislike Anastasia. I find it sort or cartoonish and can only attribute it to the princess, no one else. In that way, it is similiar to Antoinette. It only matches one person and looks strange on another.

I like them both.

I love Antonia (when pronounced "an-TONE-ee-uh/an-TOH-nee-uh"). It's among my favorites for a girl.Anastasia is beautiful as well, but not a favorite of mine.

I love Antonia when it's pronounced an-toh-NEE-ah. Fear of an-TOH-nee-ah would keep me from ever using it. I think it's beautiful and a very good name for today: multi-cultural, classic, literary, but still uncommon.I like Anastasia in theory, but on a real girl I think it's too much for me, too princessy.
