These names are pronounced differently for me - Sara is SAH-ra; whereas Sarah is SAIR-a, but I think I just figured out why Tara and Lara, etc are prn TAIR-a and LAIR-a for North American English speakers, if Sara sounds the same as Sarah there!
Aaaaanyway! I like Sarah better, I know a few but it's not a name I've got sick of; in fact I've started liking it more lately. Sara I might use for a book character; it sounds more romantic and aristocratic, but for a regular person I like Sarah.

Sara Celeste
Sarah Bethany/Sarah Beth (Sarah Beth might run the risk of sounding too much like a double fn, although I kinda like it that way)
Sara Naomi
Sarah Sinead
Sarah Israel
Sarah/Sara Flynn
Sara Anouk
Sara Abigail
Sarah Niamh
and of course, the tried-and-tested Sarah Louise.
