I have no idea. As a French girl I am not very familiar with Sara, but here both would be prononced exactly the same way, sah-rah.
And remember, they come from Hebrew, so the "real" spelling only exists in this alphabet. I have seen other forms of Sara / Sarah in older (legitimate, educated) sources.
