I prefer Meredith on a boy but it doesn't bother me on a girl (like, say, Sidney or Darcy does). Meredith has the potential to end up on my girls' list too.Meredith and Cordelia sound fine together, as does Meredith Alexandra. Length never bothers me.Meredith Jane

You should always check where someone is from before posting rude messages like that.Lindsay, Ashley, Meredith - all of these were and still are in many countries male names.Also, please read the FAQ and make your posts more legible. We also ask that you don't abuse punctuation.

Like Rachel says, Meredith is a masculine name in Wales. Even in the US, Meredith was on the boys' most popular list until 1954. There are plenty of male Merediths out there.
