[Opinions] Re: Magda.

Well, it ain't me, but if it was, I'd scrap the whole Magda- thing. Magda just sounds HORRIBLE to me, harsh and rough, and like the name of a very mean, scary old lady, the kind who chases little kids off her grass with a broom and is rumored to eat neighborhood pets.
And Magdalen/Magdalena/Magdalene? Please dont' take this the wrong way, anybody, but it is so strongly Catholic sounding to me that I would never use it. All I can think of is Mary Magdalene all weepy and repentant, or the Magdalene Laundries with all those pitiful pregnant girls getting bossed around by the nuns.
I'd use Margaret/Marguerite/Margot and use Maggie as a nn if I really had to use the Mag sound.
