Oh, I love Margot.
1. What general impression does the name give? How would you picture a little Margot?
My general impression of Margot is one of elegance and grace. It's a serious sort of beauty, never frivolous. My image of a little Margot is heavily influenced by the only little Margot I know. So, I picture a trim, confident, social little girl with light brown hair and brown eyes.
2. Do you think it makes a good match to DD#1 Scarlett? Eh, not really. I find the Scar- and Mar- sounds too repetitive, and I agree with Mar that it's somewhat confusing to see them written together and pronounce the t on one but not the other. I stumble over it, anyway.
3. Which combo do you like from below or do you have any other suggestions? Our last name rhymes with Jovi. Scarlett's middle name is Jean after my grandmother- most of our choices below are family names- there are a few that we just like though. FWIW, I don't like the oh-oh sound of Margot Jovi, but from your combos, my favorites are Margot Alice, Margot Phyllis, Margot Beatrix, and Margot Adelaide. One of my personal favorite Margot combos is Margot Adele.
