This probably makes no sense with the name Perpetua, but it's a boring combo to me. Don't ask me why, but I just yawn when seeing it. It's too BTNesqe, I think.
I think you're right. It's rather frustrating, because while I really like Clare, it needs something very exciting to go with it...and somehow, all the other names I've thought to pair with it have ended up making bizarrely dull combos. It's really quite frustrating.
