I like Lotte, it's cute. I would prefer to meet a Charlotte "Lotte" than just a Lotte though.
Lottie or Lotte would be fine, though Lottie is the more recognisable. It's a bit like Catie and Katie, both are fine and sound the same, but Katie is generally the presumed spelling of the name.
