Maya. It has the same feel as Nina, but it's still not too similar to it. Also, it's a very pretty name.

I think Nina & Sara would be a good match considering the meanings.
Also, Nina & Zoe (Zoya is NMSAA, so Zoe) flow well too.http://blog.pixnet.net/swang928

I think it's better to treat twin girls as a normal sibset and not as twins.
Any way out of your names I likeNina and Ruby
Nina and Kaya
Nina and Iris
Nina and Julia
Nina and SophiaI think it's kind of problematic that almost all your names end with -A and that most of them are four letters long. Some how they all seem a bit too themey (except for Iris and Ruby)

I actualy like the idea of having all names in the familly that are 4letters long...Anna (me) Alan (my son) Liam (future son) and Nina (future daughter) and....we will see :-)A on the end...well...in Poland (and thats were I come from) all girls names are ended with A and I would like to keep it taht way if possiable...:-)

I like Nina and Greta but Nina and Ruby is nice too.

minus from me is the popularity

still
it's an option

I agree that Nina and Sophie go well together. Else Nina and Sophia :) But I also love Maya.

MAya is so nice...but I have a feeling that not many people here like Maya...

I'm not a fan of matchy names for twins so I'd go with Nina and Zoya (!!) or Nina and Sophia. I also like Julia and Fiona.I guess I'd go with Nina Sophia and Zoya Fiona.

Nina and Zoya sounds good, doesn't it...but isn't Maya a better combo with Nina than Zoya?Nina and Zoya
Nian and Mayawhay do you think?I like Maya much more but...I'm not sure about the popularity that's all...
Nina Sophis is jus tbrillient and I really like the combo Zoya Fiona...or zoya Fay maybe

Maya (Maja) was very popular here when I was born so I always had 2-3 in school with me and I'm a bit tired of it. But it's nice with Nina.
vote up1
ohhh really? so..if I may ask...where are you from? and is it still so popular there?

Since most of the names you've listed are two syllables and end in A, just like Nina, it's a bit challenging, imo, to choose one that's not overly similar in sound. Therefore Iris and Ruby both appeal to me; but I don't think either of those has the same spunk / feel / attitude (et je ne sais quoi) as Nina, at least not to me. Which leads me to Sophia, but only because I think Nina and Sophie (rather than Sophia itself) make a charming, appropriate match, from your given choices.Of my own favorites (and Nina is one of mine as well), may I suggest Lisette (though I prefer the spelling Lysette)? Apart from both being trochees, they have nothing in common as far as sound, yet they both have a French air, they're both diminutives, and they're both very feminine (let me note that I think Sophie matches this description as well). I think Nina and Lisette would make a fine twinset.

Dear Lilian, thank you for your comment. It make me think which is good :-))))Sophia...well...Sophie to be exacked...the thing is that I think it would make a beautiful middle for Nina...Nina Sophie. but my husband likes is on his own but I'm wasn't sure if Nina and Sophie would make a good twin set!
But thanks to your respond now...well...I have to look at this option now more carefully :-))
