[Opinions] Henrietta
I'm loving Henrietta just now. I've got a weakness for 19th-century girls' names, but I'm so sick of the newly popular ones (Annabel, Isabelle, Madeline etc). I hope Henrietta stays untouched :-)I'd use it as a middle name for something shorter and no-frills. Maybe ...Raven Henrietta
Holly Henrietta
Rowan Henrietta
Laoise Henrietta (Leesh-a)
Darcy Henrietta
Maren Henrietta
Skylar Henrietta (though I know everyone hates Skylar, hehe)Wdyt?

I like Holly Henrietta bestLaoise Henrietta is attractive too, though the pronounciation/spelling looks complicated. I also like Maren Henrietta but I prefer a fn without R.Darcy is forever Mr Darcy in "Pride and Prejudice" for me. And Rowan is Rowan Atkinson (Mr Bean, Black Adder)."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."

I love the name Henrietta. I love the nn Etta/Ettie, but Hettie and Hattie are cute too. I like Harriet as a nn, but not as much as the others. It brings to mind 17th century England, to me. I love reading about history and I fall in love with names like this as I go. Sorry, but the mns you've listed don't really work for me. May I make a few suggestions?Henrietta Anne
Henrietta Louise
Henrietta Alice
Henrietta Margaret
Henrietta Mary
Henrietta Frances
Henrietta Jane
Henrietta Lucy
Henrietta Sophie
Henrietta Katherine
Henrietta Claire
Henrietta Verity
Henrietta Charlotte
Henrietta Caroline

The name Henrietta is growing on me at the moment. I don't really like any of your suggestions (sorry) but I met a little girl called Lavinia Henrietta, which I thought was pretty. What do you think?

I think Henrietta is a very ugly name - sorry. I like Henry, but it overpowers the feminine name much too much. I do like Annabelle (this spelling only) and Isabelle.I'm sorry, but I don't care for any of your first name choices, and I don't think any of them flow. I think using Henrietta as a middle name really narrows down flow-able first name choices.Edit: Spelling.

Henrietta is a very popular hen name here. :-)Rowan Henrietta gets my vote, though. :-) Raven, Holly, and Maren are just so modern for it. Skylar, too. Siri

Wait! Siri said that Henrietta is a popular name for a HEN where she lives. I doubt your future daughter would travel in the same circles . . . .Seriously, if this is really an important issue for you, you can always check out lists of most popular names. Here in the U.S., the U.S. Social Security Administration has a list on their web page. I think even BtN.com might have a link. Other countries post lists as well. I'm sure you're little Henrietta will be a stand out where ever you are.
