A girl knocked on your door and said she was Evan's. Will you take her in? How does the family react to this?

Recently a 16-year old girl named Katie Sander showed up on our doorstep claiming that Evan was her father. We were all extremely confused, especially Evan. He claimed that there must have been a mistake, she couldn't possibly be his. The whole ordeal went on for about a week before Katie realized that she had the wrong Evan Sander, that her real father was a different Evan Sander who lived in the next city over. She apologized for the mistake and left. Evan and I had been fighting for a while before that, but we were fine afterwards, and I apologized to him for not believing him.
