[Opinions] Sunny
What do you think of the name Sunny, for some reason i just love this name, it sounds fun and tomboyish, but somehow not as cutsey as names like dolly and poppy. Usable do you think? Or are other people not going to percieve the name this way? Also, Sun is a nice short form, do you think?

I like the name Sunny, especially as a nickname for Sunniva.

I really like Sunny. It's very cute and quite sweet sounding.

Sunny would be a lovely nn for a name like Sunniva, or any name really beginning with S. I knew a Sharon called Sunny.I think it would be overbearing as a full name, no one is sunny and happy all the time, and it sounds like a nn.Sun is nice, but remember it and "son" sound the same.

Oh! your so right with the sun pronunciation, that could be a little confusing couldn't it! I'll forget that.

I've only ever heard this name on a boy spelled Sonny. I really dislike both that and Sunny. It sounds like a name someone
would call get called if they were really happy, like Mary Sunshine. I really can't stand adjectives being used as names.

I love it. A little girl (sister of a boy on Gunner's soccer team) is named Sunny Vail. Her mother is a twin (their names are Paige and Vail). Her brother is Skylar. Sunny is an absolutely gorgeous girl. She is 4 with really long, wavy, reddish-blonde hair. So, yes, I see it as totally usable. Other people's perceptions don't affect me as much, but heck, how can you not love someone named Sunny? LOL :DI'm not as wild about the "Sun" form of it though. Not sure why, it just turns from a cool, fun name to... eh.xoxo

I absolutely love Sunny! I've never been able to find the perfect middle name though....maybe its better as a middle name itself or as a short form of something else? I prefer it for a girl but I did know a person who called their little boy Sunny Tiger!
