It's the name of the hero in my science-fiction novel, which I will hopefully be submitting late this year to agents and publishers.

The sound of the name is not appealing to me. I find Patrick to be quite handsome.

I prefer it spelled Padraic, which I would consider using since Patrick is my favorite boy's name. I have found that a lot of names go with Patrick/Padraig. I don't know what kind of middle names you want, but here are some combos I have made with some other names I like:
