Trendy factors:1) Goes along with the -en, -on, -an trend.
2) Goes with the Y in names trend.Therefore, trendy.

It's also a surname/place name.The name itself isn't popular, but I'd still call it trendy because it follows several current naming trends.

What characteristics of it make you find it old-fashioned?Since they told the factors that made it trendy :) I can't see anything about it that's old fashioned.Except maybe that it's lacking a long vowel.Personally I think the K sells the trendy factor.

It's like Kenton, sort of. I honesty don't think a 'k' in a name makes it automatically trendy. I don't see it as being trendy at ALL.
