Help[Opinions] Matilda?
I just started learning to play the song "Waltzing Matilda", which is a song I've loved for a long time. But, untill now, I never really took much notice of the name. I'm starting to really like it.
I'm having a bit of trouble coming up with combos though. I tried it with all of my girls honouring names but they all just seemed to boring:
Matilda Loren
Matilda Claire
Matilda Jane
... See what I mean? It's a big snooze-fest.
So I'm thinking the MN is going to need to be a bit more "unusual", any ideas?
Also, WDYTO Matilda nn Mat?

Oooh, I love Matilda also, because of the song. I've loved it for a long time because my grandfather used to sing Waltzing Matilda to me when I was a little girl...it reminds me so much of him.

Nickname Mat, wouldn't be my first choice but it's nice, I'd rather use Tilly or Mattie. I like the name Matilda. I cxouldn't come up with anything close to your honouring names so her's a few others.

I'm completely in love with Matilda, mainly caused by the Roald Dahl book of the same name; one of my daughters WILL have this name.
My top combo is Matilda Claire, but I also like Matilda Abigail. Matilda Sinead could be cool, and it would also honour a Jane.
