I think it's a pretty name, but given it's current celebassociation its maybe not the right time.

That's what immediately comes to mind. I just refinanced. Anyone who even applies for a mortgage will come across this acronym.

Tila Tequila?Great, lets name someone after a chick who takes on a pseudonym (because Tila isn't her real name I am told) involving alcohol. Great idea.

What she thinks of the nameIs that it reminds her of Tila Tequila. As it does me, as it will many people.

She wasn't accusing you of anything. You asked for opinions, and she gave you hers. It reminds her of Tila Tequila. So be it. She never said you were "involving it with alcohol," whatever that means.

Thank-youThat is exactly what I was saying. I don't like the name because it reminds me of Tila Tequila and alcohol. That is an opinion and my feelings on the name, which is exactly what you were asking for.

I love the name Tila but now all I think about is Tila Tequila.

I know a Tela (pronounced the same as Tila). I don't love the name (I prefer Nila or Mila) but it has a nice sound. Simple and spunky, but not cutesy or little-girlish. The Tila Tequila association will fade with time, I think.

I actually relatively like the name. Though it sounds more like a nn to me.

Its Ok, but it reminds me of a nn for Atila and subsequently Atila the Hun. So all in all not a good impression for me.

I think it has a pretty sound. Teala might be a better spelling in the short-run, or Teela, but as I don't think Tila Tequila is going to be more than a footnote within the grand scheme of things, pop culture-wise, in the long run, I don't think there's anything wrong with Tila. Array

I think of Tila Tequila who not only is a singer but posed nude in many magazines. She seems a bit on the trashy side to me not a good association.ETA: her real name is pretty though Thien Thanh

I think of the singer Tila Tequila, not a very good association. If I get passed Tila Tequila, I think it makes a pretty name, though I prefer Tia.
