[Opinions] wdyto Arden?
I met a graceful, outgoing girl named Arden the other day. I found the name quite pretty, but I'm not sure if it's because she was so pleasant that it made me biased. wdyt?

It's very close to Ardent to me.
So I'm not 100% sold on it, but it's okay.

Arden is very pretty and a favorite of mine. I prefer it for a girl, though many will say that it sounds masculine.
I adore Arden. I find it strong and beautiful without being frilly or masculine.
It reminds me of "harden". I know someone with the surname d'Ardenne, and I think Ardenne would be more feminine.
I think the name is lovely, especially the meaning. But, the overall sound of it is very pleasing to my ears, anyway. I think I would prefer it on a male, however.
It's true that sometimes people who are nice make their names look nice by reflex. Arden just makes me think of the cosmetics brand.
Arden is bit too rough sounding to my ears. It makes me think of the word harden and then I think of a harden criminal. I would suggest the much softer and more feminine alternative of Auden. Auden is a sir name and the most famous bearer of the surname is the poet W.H. Auden.
I adore W.H. Auden's poetry
but that name sounds rather masculine to me.

It's OK. On a boy, because Arden sounds masculine to me.
Besides that, the Elizabeth Arden cosmetics came to mind, the second I saw this name. The foremost main reason not to ever consider it, because I bet other people thinks that too, at first when hearing it on a kid. Whether it's on a boy or on a girl. And I think a boy would hate that growing up. On a girl maybe not so much, if she turned up to be a girly-girl, loving that connection and not a tom-boy, who wouldn't touch make-up at all (as me here).

I've only seen it on girls, but I find it a bit masculine.
Plus, it reminds me of the snobby girl named Arden on Naturally, Sadie.
It's not a terrible name at all, but it's just NMS.

Not at all feminine in my opinion.
