Daniel and Lillian met when they were a sophomore and a freshman in high school, respectively. They were in the same Geometry class and were assigned as partners for most of the semester. Daniel was at that point dating another girl, and Lillian had no interest in him whatsoever. A tentative friendship between the self-confessed "bum" and the shy girl was formed then, but after the semester ended they abruptly stopped talking. The next year the two were once again placed in the same math class, and Lillian soon realized she had developed a crush on Daniel, who had dumped his previous girlfriend for another girl and had been through three more in the interval. She was not pleased to actually "like" Daniel, as she saw him as a bit of an arrogant prat, but she dealt with it for several months. During the semester, their friendship slowly began to reform, but the progression was much slower due to a few arguments they got into. Had they not been in the same math class yet again the second half of the semester, they may never have gotten together.
These days, Daniel and Lillian are happily married. Lillian is getting her masters degree to become a high school math teacher, while Daniel is preparing to ship out as a pilot for the Navy some time next month. The Navy Seals have been a tradition in Daniel's family for generations, and the same goes for Lillian's family and teaching. Lillian is uneasy about seeing her husband go off to the war, but she understands his decision and is behind him all the way.

I personally know how hard it is to make up random events. :) Here are some from my game:
* A baby (boy/girl) was dropped on the doorstep with a note saying (he/she) belongs to (husband). What happened? How did (wife) react? Will you keep the baby?
* (Husband) has been injured at work. How did it happen? How serious is the injury?
* One of your children has been charged with first-degree murder.
* (Wife) discovers that (husband) is in the CIA and has not told her. How does she react?
