John and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our second child, a baby girl! Olivia Rachel, whom we have nicknamed Livie, was born May 28th, weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces; 19 1/4 inches long. Since she was born so close to my sister's birthday (and because I always wanted to have it this way for my first girl), her middle name is in honor of my sister (her aunt, Rachel). Livie joins big brother John, who is so loving and protective of his baby sister. He loves to just sit, watch her, and hold her hand. Seeing the two of them together is so sweet, and Livie already seems to know that she has the best big brother!
