I prefer Agatha to Agnes, and prefer Agata (the Polish variant) to Agatha. Either way, I don't think they are very pretty or feminine names, both are are a little witchy (no offense to any Wiccans intended). I think I dislike the Ag- sound. Ness would be a nice NN for Agnes though.
