Welcome to Serel’s Congrats!
Sorry it took me so long to get this round up. It took a little while to get everyone’s namebanks, and I was working on a European project all week (we had to research a few countries. Mine were Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Denmark and The Netherlands, for the record), and that took up a lot of my time.
Also, I probably won’t get round 6 up for a week or so. I’m going to be staying at my grandma’s house and won’t have access to the files I keep all the important stuff in (aka your families and the randoms)

- Genders were chosen by the roll of a dice
- Random events were chosen by the number you gave me
- The name bank you got is made from the numbers you gave me, and the year the person below you gave me
- 2 years have passed
- If you didn’t give me numbers or a year last round, they were randomly generated.
- 2 of our players are starting their second generation (Elianora and Zephyrine)
Rules for this round:
- No spelling changes
- Write about your Random Event
- Give me a number 1 to 80
- Make two wishes! (You can wish for anything. If you want triplets, you can wish for them. Want a boy? Wish for one. Want no naming rules? All you have to do is wish! Only one of your wishes will come true. No complex wishes though. You can’t say “I want g/b/b/b quadruplets” You can wish for quads OR 4 kids- a girl and 3 boys, though. They just won’t be quads.

The earthquake was totally unexpected. A sound like an explosion rocked the neighborhood only three days ago. The ceiling started crumbling, and the kids were screaming from the upstairs.
Caspian and I ran upstairs to find the children already rushing out of their bedrooms. Lyra was trying to take control, but even she looked scared to death. Thankfully, I already had Dominic in my arms. Together, we raced out of the fast-collapsing building.
Most of our things were salvaged, except for the TV, and other large things. For now, we're staying with my parents, but soon we will move back.

In my last post i mentioned that we were planning to move out of the suburbs into the country. Emphasis on the WERE! We bought a beautiful house about half an hour away from Daniel's parents in Burgundy, but about a week after we bought the house the area was devastated by a random tornado. So it looks like we wont be escaping the suburbs any time soon.
It was quite a shock to all of us when i found myself pregnant again - especially as Daniel and i both swore Thea would be our last child, due to the fact that we are both not getting any younger - but little Michael was born exactly one month ago and i wouldnt have it any other way, Although i am quite run ragged these days with five mischievous children to worry about and a baby crying at all hours of the night.
In other news, Elijah recently married a wonderful girl called Cecily - we know that they are perfect for each other and hope that they will be very happy together.

We are happy to announce the arrival of the newest addition to our family, Joshua Jason. Josh was born happy and healthy, weighing 8 pounds, 6 ounces; 21 inches long. His brothers and sisters are so thrilled to have another baby at home, and though Kate absolutely adores him, we know she was secretly hoping for a little sister. She's so outnumbered by boys! :-)
And recently, shortly after Josh was born, Jacob was climbing a tree at his grandparents' house (something he loves to do), and slipped, falling to the ground below. He broke his arm and sprained his ankle, but is recovering well. I don't think that'll stop him from climbing, though!

The Kimball family is doing very well. Fawn recently gave birth to another red head, but something that is new for the family, IT'S A GIRL! Little Ella Grace is certainly the Princess of the family, adored by all her big brothers.
Dexter is now 13 and in the 8th grade. He's still the class clown and still getting into trouble for it.
Tucker is 11 and in 6th grade. He's still a quiet, well behaved boy who gets very good grades. He just came home with Straight A's (as usual). He gets sad that Greg and Fawn don't "reward" him like other kids are. Greg and Fawn don't believe in rewarding kids for doing what they are suppose to do, bringing home the best grades they can (sidenote: that is the rule at my real house, much to the hatred of my middle son Nick who regularly comes home with straight A's and wishes I would reward him like his friends get for A's. So I had to chuckle when I saw the "event").
Darby is 8 and in the 3rd grade. He seems to be trying to "outshine" Dexter as being the most rambunctious child.

Dave and I had a hard time agreeing on a name for our fourth son. Dave wanted to name the new baby after his brother, Mathew. I loved the idea, but I wanted to spell the name Matthew, since it's a more standard spelling and Mathew would constantly be misspelled. All of our other children have very easy-to-spell names, so I thought it would be a little unfair. We debated for a long time, but eventually I agreed to spell the name the way Dave's brother spells it as long as we could use Garrett, my maiden name, as the middle name. Dave doesn't really like surnames as first or middle names, but he agreed that it would be a good compromise, so we named our new son Mathew Garrett.

It has been two years since Adam was born. Wil and Lydia are proud to welcome a fourth boy to their family! After much deliberation, they decided to name him Raymond Everrett. Matthew and Dakota have taken to calling him Raymie. So...news about the family. Wil is still playing hockey. He isn't sure when he'll retire, but hopes it won't be for a good ten years or so. Lydia is very busy being a mommy as well as volunteering some of her time at the local soup kitchen. Matthew is a teenager now! He is playing ice hockey and doing very well. He likes being a part of the team and is thinking seriously about joining the NHL like his father. Dakota is eleven. After a rough year and a half, he has now recovered and is back to his old healthy stuff. Dakota has been busy playing soccer, skateboarding, and doing karate. He is also going to play hockey and try out the guitar this winter. Naomi is eight. She is a sweet girl who hates getting into trouble. She is doing ballet, and she also enjoys watching movies and taking pictures. Adam is two and he is quite the active toddler. He likes to run all around the house and get into all sorts of mischief.

I suppose she thought saying the baby was Rafe's would persuade us to take her in. Thank goodness her friends got scared and called the police when she wouldn't tell them what had happened to the baby. After the truth came out, the mother worked with Social Services and an agency to find an adoptive family.

Thank goodness her friends got scared and called the police when she wouldn't tell them what had happened to the baby. After the truth came out, the mother worked with Social Services and an agency to find an adoptive family.

A baby girl was dropped on the doorstep with a note saying she belongs to Daniel. What happened? How did Lillian react? Will you keep the baby? Her name is Virginia Leigh.
Daniel was discharged from the Navy just last year, and we've all been thrilled to have him home permanently. Unfortunately, just after Dylan was born, a baby girl was left on our doorstep with a note saying she belonged to Daniel. Lillian didn't quite "loose it," but she came pretty close. After spending twelve years in the Navy, how could Daniel even think of sleeping with someone else?
The situation was escalated when one of Lillian's friends from work came to visit her and see the new baby. Lillian teaches at the same high school she and Daniel once attended, and this particular man, a teacher who had just started when Lillian and Daniel were in school, had always hated Daniel. Lillian, who was, of course, distraught, confided in him, and he naturally said some very cruel things about Daniel. When Daniel tried to defend himself, he ended up on the streets.
Lillian and Daniel are now back together, but things are still rough going. Lillian is trying her hardest to treat Virginia, who's just an innocent child, the same as she treats her own children, but most of her care goes straight to Daniel. Daniel and Lillian are hardly speaking to one another at all.
Of course, the children have all picked up on this. Eleanor has always held a slight grudge against Daniel for leaving the family to serve in the Navy, and she now ignores him completely.

We recently moved again. We moved to Australia but before me moved our older kids got their report card from their school. Kaitlynn had mostly A's but some B's too. Kaden on the other hand had only A's !
We were so proud of him and decided that we wanted to reward him at some way. We asked him what he wanted and he told us that he wanted a home were he could life for a few years and not moving around.

Dear all,

Ben surprised me last week when he told me he had organised the day off work so that he could take me to watch Sunrise. I was so excited because I am so in love with Mel and Kochie (Melissa Doyle and David Koch). When we arrived he told me it was actually a makeover segment and I was to be on it. Once I had had the makeover I went on the show and was able to meet my favourite morning show hosts. It was the best experience of my life and something I will never forget.
