One day, I came home from work early.I was tired, so I went to lie down in my bed. I was shocked at what I saw when I opened my door. My husband. In bed with another woman. In utter shock, I slammed the door and walked next door to my best friends house. Since I have a key, I let myself in. It was only noon, so my friend, Anna, wasn't home yet. When she got home around 4:00, I told her what happened (and hoped she wouldn't mind that I helped myself to her ice cream). I decided I would stay with her for a little while and Anna went over to get my things. Carlisle and I decided to divorce. Keep in mind that I was 2 months pregnant at this point.
Not too long after that fatal day, there was a new teacher at the school that I work at. (I'm a counseler. It's an elementary school). His name is Jasper Simeon. The two of us became friends, and one thing led to another (he was shocked that I'm single). A month after Val was born, we wed. He has no kids.

This has been an exciting year for Jake and I. First off and most importantly, we welcomed our first child, a son, Leonardo Roberts (we call him Leo). He's an absolute angel and we couldn't adore him more.
Secondly, Jacob is on the verge of an extremely important breakthrough - you may have heard it on the news? As you all know, he is a genetic scientist and, along with his team, he is the closest we have ever got to being able to grow tissue and organs in a lab: organ donation would never again be necessary and everybody in the world who needed a transplant would get one right away. Currently, Jacob believes that he is about a month away from creating a living cell and after that, the process will go at a hundred miles an hour! By next year he hopes to be growing tissue so fingers crossed.

Brad caught Emma in an affair just before the twins were born. Emma says she had been seeing "R" for about a year, there was a chance that the triplets or at least one might not be Brad's. After months of bitterness and fighting the couple sought out help with the situation. They did a paternity test and to the better the childern are all Brad's! Emma and Brad are staying together and went to marriage counseling. It was found out that the reason for Emma straying is that Brad was not filling a void, he was distant and spent more time away from home than he should have. Kevin could not believe Melinda was really gone. While they hadn't been in touch for a few years, besides xmas cards and the like, he felt like a part of him had died with her. When Kevin and his family moved to Long Island from London, Melinda became one of Kevin's few friends. They had been neighbors, Melinda was 8 when Kevin was 6. They stayed friends throughout elementary, middle, and high school, until Melinda left for college and Kevin stayed behind. She visited frequently at the beginning.
Melinda had been a single mother for both Zoey and Ria. The girls had different fathers (neither where responsible enough or close enough to Melinda to actually help raise their daughters). It was difficult to manage, especially with work, but Melinda was a strong woman. When Melinda died in the car crash, she had no surviving family who was willing to take the girls in.
Mel didn't personally know Melinda, but had no objection to the adoption once she was fully aware of Kevin's relationship with her. Mel and Kevin both welcomed the girls with open arms.
Kevin's parents weren't thrilled with their decision, since Lucas was just a newborn and they felt that he needed all of his mother's attention. But Zoey, if anything, provided more help with raising Lucas, as young as she was. Zoey also felt very protective of little Ria, and wouldn't let Mel mother her at first, but opened up to her new parents after a few months. Zoey really missed her mom, but Ria was so young, all she really understood was that her mother was no longer there.
It's terribly tragic they will never get to know their mother as well as they should have been able to, but Kevin and Mel are here to be their new parents, and help them grow up and live fulfilling lives.

Avery and I came home from the hospital with Rafael, to discover we had forgotten to lock the door in our hurry to get me there and that we had been robbed. Fortunately it was only our TV that was taken and we were thinking of getting rid of it anyway. I fainted when we discovered the theft so it was rather fortunate that Avery was holding the baby. I'm a bit nervous about our neighborhood now and am a bit jumpy about living here with the baby now. Avery and I may want to move.

Albert and Mary had beautiful girl name Rosina Lilith. She needed to have surgury to clear the blockage in her kidneys. After they clear the blockage she will be alright. The surgury went fine and she doing good.She has to take antobitice (sp?) for few weeks.

We are pleased to welcome our new baby girl, Christiana Lily Barton. She was 7 lbs. 8oz. and 20" long. So far she has been an easy-going baby.
Matthew has been busy working as a pediatrician. He noticed a problem that many people wouldn't bring their children in when their throat just hurt, and sometimes they could have strep and not even know it. So Matthew and some other doctors have been working on something mothers can buy to test their children to know if they have strep throat. It worked! Soon it will be on the market.

Me and John had been trying for a baby for two years and when I didn't get pregnant we decided to wait and get a cat instead. The cat already had a name, Hugues, but we didn't like it. We decided to name him Hugo instead.
He is lovely and it was a great feeling to have someone else in the house.
A few months later I started to feel wierd. I was soooo tired, angry, hungry and I felt like I had a foot in my throat. John asked me if we shouldn't take a pregnancy test. I just laughed at him. Why should I be pregnant now? We waren't even trying for a baby now when we had Hugo. Anyway, when I still felt sick after one week I thought that a test wouldn't do any harm. You should have seen me face when I found out that I actually was pregnant!
John was at work at the time but I called him and asked him if he could get home. When he asked why I just said that I didn't feel very well (I didn't wanted to tell him on the phone). One hour later he was home and I showed the test for him. At first he was shcoked but then he started to laugh, jhug and kissing me.
The next day we started to talk about names. I wanted to name a daughter Present Joy and John was fine with this as long as a boy were named John Alexander II. I didn't wanted a little junior because I thought it would only get problem. Who was John, who was Johnny and so on. John and I started to fight about this and then we compromised and said that John got name the boy but no junior.
He chosed Samuel for his firstname, to honor his father Samuel Henry, and for his middlename he chosed Robbie to honor his granfather, uncle and best friend who all was named Robert.
When our child was born it was a little boy. I was hoping for a girl since I loved the names Present Joy. But our son, Samuel, is lovely. We couldn't be any happier and we only live for him now. Nothing else matters!

You should have seen me face when I found out that I actually was pregnant!
John was at work at the time but I called him and asked him if he could get home. When he asked why I just said that I didn't feel very well (I didn't wanted to tell him on the phone). One hour later he was home and I showed the test for him. At first he was shcoked but then he started to laugh, jhug and kissing me.
The next day we started to talk about names. I wanted to name a daughter Present Joy and John was fine with this as long as a boy were named John Alexander II. I didn't wanted a little junior because I thought it would only get problem. Who was John, who was Johnny and so on. John and I started to fight about this and then we compromised and said that John got name the boy but no junior.
He chosed Samuel for his firstname, to honor his father Samuel Henry, and for his middlename he chosed Robbie to honor his granfather, uncle and best friend who all was named Robert.
When our child was born it was a little boy. I was hoping for a girl since I loved the names Present Joy. But our son, Samuel, is lovely. We couldn't be any happier and we only live for him now. Nothing else matters!

Spud's parents came to stay for 4 weeks, when Julian was first born, to help around the house etc. At first Spud loved having her parents there but after the first week she wanted them to leave so bad. They were constantly telling them that they didn't hold Julian the right way of didn't burp him enough. After 2 and 1/2 weeks they kindly asked her parents to leave because it was causing too much friction in the house.

Ben and Tiffany were so happy to welcome their little girl. They named her Kristina Leigh. Tiffany is happy that they share the same middle name.
Ben's grandparents were having a hard time living on their own. They didn't want to go to assisted living and asked Ben if they could move in with him. Ben and Tiffany adore them and had no problem having them move into the MIL Apartment on the back of their house.

John and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our son and daughter, Lucas Robert and Christina Lillian! Luis came into the world weighing 5 pounds, 14 ounces; 18 3/4 inches long. Little sister, Christina, was born weighing 5 pounds, 8 ounces; 18 1/2 inches long. Luke was born with Down's syndrome, while Cristina was not. It was certainly difficult to deal with the realization, but seeing him and holding him made it clear that it doesn't change how much we love him. He's such a sweet baby boy with a wonderful personality, and he and Christina are precious together. John and I cannot imagine life without either one, and we are so blessed to be their parents.

George and Suzan were in complete shock as Suzan's water broke at only seven and a half months. Contractions began almost immediately thereafter, and the Sweets were rushed to the nearest hospital. Seven hours later, Sebastian Rupert Sweet was born through c-section at a few minutes shy of midnight.
The Sweets' journey did not end here, though. Sebastian stayed in the neonatal unit for three weeks. Being first time parents, Suzan and George were as nervous as ever and were extremely anxious to bring their little boy home. Time seemed slow as ever, but when the day came, the Sweets were the happiest they had ever been together. It was at that moment they knew they truly wanted the joy of having as many children together as they could.
