I love this name. I like the spelling Catherine best, closely followed by Katherine. I also like Katharine, just in honor of Katharine Hepburn (one of my favorite actresses...and fellow atheists ;) ), but dislike all other spellings of the name.

Kate/Cate is my favorite nickname for it, but I also like Kat/Cat, Catrin/Katrin, Katya/Katja, Kitty, and Kay...among others.
