My partner and I are expecting our first baby, a boy, and have got our shortlist down to four names - Dylan, Harry, Matthew and Ryan. We are swinging between the names - our preferences seem to change daily, although at the moment my favourite is Harry and hers is Dylan. For a middle name, we've decided that it will be either James or Joseph.

What do you think?

Ooh I love three of those names (Not so keen on Ryan). Harry and Dylan are great names. Dylan Harry is a good combo, as is Dylan Matthew, but if you want to use Joseph or James then Dylan James or Harry Joseph would work... Let us know what you decide!

With the ln Bunton I'd stay away from Dylan and Ryan. I don't think Dylan Bunton and Ryan Bunton flow particularly well. I quite like Harry though. Harry James and Harry Joseph are both great. I'd probably go with Harry James Bunton, great combo.

I LOVE Harry and Dylan...and the combination Harry James is nice...just take note that Harry Potter's full name is Harry James. I also like Dylan James.

One of my brother's is named Matthew Ryan. The other is Joseph Michael.

Ryan gets my vote. Dylan is also nice but I like Ryan the best. Matthew is too common and just nms. I don't care for the name Harry at all but I do like Henry with the nickname Hal. I would go with Ryan James (Joseph is nice too).

I love Harry, and Matthew is nice. Dylan and Ryan are NMS, but okay names. I think Harry Joseph sounds great. ^ ^

I like Dylan the best and I think Dylan sounds great with either middle name. Matthew and Ryan to me are to popular (maybe just in my area?) and I dont like Harry at all.

I like Harry best. It is classic and not as popular as your other three choices. Harry James is perhaps too similar to the author Henry James, but Harry Joseph is perfect.

Personally I love Henry, possible nn Harry, best, but you may find Henry too old-fashioned.

I absolutely LOVE Matthew, Ryan and Dylan. Those are three of my top names. Harry is kind of cute but not a favorite. Dylan Joseph would sound very nice. Many congratulations-baby boys are just wonderful!!
