[Opinions] Addnn?!
Last night, I saw what I think is the oddest spelling of Aidan ever. Addnn looks counter-intuitive; I want to say 'addin'!WDYT?

Can I buy a vowel? It also just looks like a mishmash of abbreviations--attention deficit disorder + nickname. :b

I have no problem with pronouncing it, but it doesn't sound like Aidan. I don't get why English speakers think that a word is pronouced the same way regardless of the spelling. Even though the pronunciation rules in English are more lax than in some languages, they do still exist (an for a reson, I might add).

Is that a NAME for a REAL person?!O boy...suddenly Aydan seems like a very nice spelling..I also want to say "addin" but my first thought when I saw the name was Adam or Adan.

That's the only name I've ever seen with only one vowel. It doesn't even look or sound like Aidan. I would pronounce it like addin.
