[Opinions] Davin for a boy
I read on another sight that Davin is a new hybrid name. What do you think of this name?

Well, I like David, and Gavin is okay...but I don't like Davin.

I saw it recently for a new baby boy, but I'm still not sure how it's pronounced. DAY-vin or rhyming with Gavin? Either way, it looks made up and therefore unattractive to me.

I like it but it might get confusing since it can be pronounced like Gavin with a "D" or DAY-vin (similar to David). He would always have to correct people on the pronunciation.

I don't really like two names fused together. And I wouldn't know how to pronounce this. Part of me wants to say DAY-vin, because it begins like David. And part of me wants to rhyme it with Gavin._____________________________________________________________________Elinor"Actually, guns do kill people. Ever tried slapping a person to death?"

I like Davin. BtN says it is a variant of Devin, which I also like."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."
