Now that you mention it, I think I kind of like it. Kind of hard for me to imagine it on a grown woman, but I'm sure it's happened. =P

I know that you mena in regard to 'now I think about it'. I had been studying the play 'The Merchant of Venice' for months until I decided I liked the name!

I love Nerissa! Maybe because I get to use my fave nickname Nessa, but people don't think of Nessie the monster when they hear it:-)

I've never come across anyone with this name but I do like it. I was thinking about it the other day. It's very pretty but not too frilly I don't think.

I know a Narisa. (said the same way)

It's nice, but feels a little wrong. The N doesn't feel right to me.

I prefer Marissa / Marisa
