[Opinions] Which middle name for Elizabeth and which nickname?
What middle name do you like best for Elizabeth? My husand and I have loved Elizabeth Valerie the most. Do you think if flows well? Other possibilites are thinking of honoring Elizabeth Abigail, Rebecca, and Jo or Joanna.
Second, out of Beth, Liz or Lizzie, Bess, or Eliza do you like best? Would you rather just Elizabeth all the time?

P.S. Sorry I know the bottom question was asked like a week ago but with more options.

I like Elizabeth Abigail and Elizabeth Rebecca the best. Lizzie is my fave nn for Elizabeth.
Lily is my favorite nn for Elizabeth, followed by Ella, and Beth. Bess sounds too old fashioned.
Elizabeth Rebecca gets my vote. I love both names!
Valerie is dnmsaa and seems dated to me. Abigail is just okay - nothing special. Jo seems too nicknamey imo, and Joanna isn't my style.
Of the nicknames you've listed, Beth gets my vote, though, I'd just rather have Elizabeth all the time, since Beth isn't a favorite of mine.

Valerie and Elizabeth but occasionally Bess! Emphatically!
You must use Valerie. I insist. I will stomp my feet and pout. You do not know how much this particular combination has made me really like Elizabeth. Rebecca and Abigail and Jo and to a lesser extent Joanna turn the combo into something very pedestrian and not amazingly wonderful.
I am less passionate about this issue. I'd like to see an Elizabeth "go by" Elizabeth but be occasionally called Bess or Beth or Liz, in that order. If she went by Elizabeth though she could choose whatever nickname she wanted.

Purely do to syllable count I prefer Elizabeth Jo. I love Eliza as a nn the other nn possibilities feel very "elderly" to me.
I like Elizabeth Abigail the best, and Eliza as a nn.
I think Elizabeth Valerie is very nice. And you maybe even call her E.V like Evie as another nickname. But for your nicknames I like Liz and I love Eliza. I knew a girl once called Betsy which was short for Elizabeth, and she was very cute, so thats another possibility too. All of your other nicknames, or just Elizabeth are good, except Bess, to me its one step away from Bessie which reminds me of a cow. Sorry lol. But everything else is nice. I'd go with Eliza though.
I think Elizabeth Abigail also flows very well too, maybe even a bit better that Valerie. Another combo i like that isnt on your list is Elizabeth Evelyn. I like the sound of it, but you said honoring, so your choices probably all have significance while Evelyn may not, but its just a suggestion.
Hope this helped a little bit.

I like Elizabeth Valerie or Elizabeth Jo.
For a nickname, I like just Elizabeth, but Lizzie is nice too.

While I like Elizabeth on it's own, I really like Bess the best of all your choices.
Of all Elizabeth nicknames I know of, my favorites are Elise and Elsie (very similar I know).

well, I think that Abigail is my favorite out of those possibilities. My aunt Elizabeth didn't have a middle name given to her though, and I think that if you can't decide on a middle name, it's a wonderful name to be just on it's own.
as for a nn... personally i don't really like many of the nn for Elizabeth, with Lizzie being my favorite. Also, my aforementioned aunt goes by Libby.

Elizabeth Valerie's nice. Very classic. And everything seems to flow well with Elizabeth, so don't even worry about flow.
I like Lizzie / Liz / Libby / Lily for a nickname, but I think I'd wait until I had the baby and see what nn fit her best.

I like Elizabeth Valerie, it has a nice flow to it. It is my favourite of your possibilities by far. My favourite Elizabeth combo is Elizabeth Iris. Eliza is the best of those nicknames, however I also like Libby. Then it would be Beth. I can't stand Liz/Lizzie.
