[Opinions] Rocco (edited)
It's been in the back of my mind ever since I met a 4 year old boy with gorgeous blonde hair on a plane named Rocco. At first I thought it was Roscoe, but I heard again when his mom was helping him spell it out. I've grown quite fond of it. WDYT? Do you prefer it as a nickname, and if so, for what full name? ETA: Do you think Rocco could word as a NN for Raphael (RAY-fee-al)?

RoccoI love Rocco as a nn for Sirocco, who is my hypothetical Socorro's twin brother. :-)I think Rocco as a nn for Raphael (particularly with your prn) is a bit of a stretch; Rafe makes more sense for ol' Raphael. But hey, truth be told, you can name him Francis Xavier Melchizedek Apollo and still call him Rocco if you want.:-)

We currently have a little Rocco in our NICU. :) Several people have commented 'who would name their kid Rocco?!' And I said, 'Hey, at least he'll be the only one in his class.' ;)

I love Rocco. It's been on my list for quite some time now. It's a very bold name with some charm to it. It's a bit of a stretch as a nickname for Raphael but I like Rocco on it's own anyway.
