I think it's an OK name. The name Aphra was used by the Puritans (it means "dust" in Hebrew).

I think it's very cool, and I like the association with Aphra Behn.

I prefer Apphia (AY-fee-ah), though. :)

Agree about the cool/Aphra Behn association. It's not my style, but I'd like it on someone else's child.

For some reason, Apphia looks a little fussy to me, whereas Aphra seems less frilly.
