For me, Kevin does have a nice-guy image, but he's a nice guy in his 30s or 40s. I really consider it dated. I checked the SSA list, and I'm surprised it's still so popular.
Come to think of it, there's a Kevin-Cole (double name) in my son's daycare classroom.
