I love Arthur. It's one of my top male names.
It's a handsome, solid name with so much history behind it.
Like you, I prefer it without a nickname.
From your list of combos, I like Arthur Benjamin, Arthur James, Arthur Louis, and Arthur Samuel. It's funny that I don't care for Arthur Daniel because the opposite, Daniel Arthur, is one of my favorite combos. (My favorite Arthur combo is Arthur Frederick.)
