[Opinions] Re: Emeric
in reply to a message by Bear
I think Emeric is very handsome, and like you said easy to spell and say, so I prefer it to Emmerich and Amalric. The only thing I can see wrong with it some might complain it's too feminine what with the popular Em- beginning. But, what with my male cousin being an Emlyn I don't see this as a major problem :)Combos:Emeric Peter :)
Emeric Allan / Alan
Emeric Thomas
Emeric Paul
Emeric Hugh
Emeric Julius
Emeric Alexis
Emeric Barnaby (this was one of your top names, right?
Emeric Charles
Emeric George
Emeric Geoffrey
Emeric Louis
Emeric DamianAny ideas?

Oh, you darling. Emeric Peter is wonderful. :-)Emeric Hugh and Emeric George are terrific too. I want to like Emeric Barnaby because you're right; Barnaby is a favorite of mine. But I fear it just doesn't mesh well enough for me. Emlyn is another "film buff-y" name for me. Mr. Williams was one of those actors who as soon as I saw his name I knew I would like the film / his role. I wish Emlyn were useable here in the U.S., but I don't even try to fight that battle.
